Trying To Cure My Seasonal Depression: Why I Want To Cure My Seasonal Depression

Why I Want To Cure My Seasonal Depression:

It seems like every year as the leaves start to die and the sun sets earlier my anxiety and depression rise. As much as I hate to admit there's a direct correlation between the amount of vitamin D I get and the amount of sadness I feel, it seems to be an undeniable trend over the years.

Just looking back at pictures of me during the summer makes me envious of the person I used to be:

August 2021
I felt confident and free. I felt like I could go out wearing whatever I wanted and stay out late for the sun was always beaming on my skin and keeping me warm. But now as the weather gets colder and the sun sets sooner, I've found myself feeling less like this and more...bleh.
July 2021

However, as much as I would love to stop the sun from setting so early, I have no control over that and face this predicament for the following few months. Instead, I've decided to take matters into my own hands and find ways to alleviate the stress during this time of the year.

Through this blog post series, I will be sharing ways of how I am trying to cure my seasonal depression. I hope to share with you readers some of the best practices I learn over this time!
